Drenocalc-Plus® Di Leo (PVB12) - 50ml Ingredients: Alcohol, Water, extracts of: LIME (Tilia platyphyllos Scop.) bark, GOLDENROD (Solidago virga aurea L.) flowering tops, Harrow (Ononis spinosa L.) root, MULLETIN (Verbascum thapsus L.) flowering aerial parts, PARIETARIA (Parietaria Officinalis L.) aerial parts, KINDBAND (Polygonum aviculare L.) aerial parts, ELDER (Sambucus nigra L.) flowering tops. Characteristics: This compound from Di Leo herbal medicine acts as a hepato-renal drainer, stimulating the function of the liver and kidneys which maintain organic balance as what benefits one also benefits the other. The plants responsible for fighting urinary infections caused by bacteria, which by making the urine more alkaline favor the deposit of calcium phosphate around aggregating nuclei formed by dead cell debris, are represented by: POLYGONUM AVICULARE (antimicrobial and diuretic disinflammatory action, linked to: tannins, mucilage and potassium salts); SAMBUCUS NIGRA (antimicrobial, diuretic, antispasmodic action given by tannins and mucilage); TILIA PLATYPHYLLOS (antimicrobial, diuretic, anti-inflammatory action given by: tannic substances and mucilages); SOLIDAGO VIRGA AUREA (diuretic, antiseptic, astringent, healing, anticystitic-disinflammatory action due to: saponins, tannins, flavonoids, mucilages); ONONIS SPINOSA (powerful diuretic, anticystitic and antinephritic action due to: high content of isoflavone glycosides which act by stimulating diuresis, decreasing capillary permeability and increasing resistance; tannins with antimicrobial function; the most important compound is constituted by saponins which cause increase in diuresis and at the same time decrease inflammatory processes); VERBASCUM THAPSUS (disinflammatory and diuretic action due to mucilage and saponins); PARIETARIA OFFICINALIS (disinflammatory, diuretic, anticystitic, antinephritic, antiprostatic action due to: mucilage and potassium nitrate, present in considerable quantities, flavonoids and tannins). The other aspect of the stone problem is linked to liver function, which affects the presence of uric acid. When the urine is acidic following an altered metabolism, uric acid tends to form stones also as a consequence of an increased insolubility of calcium in the urine itself; the latter effect can also be aggravated by the presence of cholesterol, which causes an increase in calcium in the blood and urine. The liver stimulating plants in this compound are represented by: TILIA PLATYPHYLLOS (stomachic, cholagogue, antigout action linked to glucosides); SOLIDAGO VIRGA AUREA (antiuric and hypocholesterolemic action, liver stimulating action due to bitter substances).
