Keywords: abdominal swelling, fermentations, dysbiosis Characteristics of Meteo-Stop-Plus® Di Leo: To reduce the problem of meteorism, in addition to following an appropriate diet that excludes the use of flatulent foods, it is necessary to use plants containing active ingredients that reduce the accumulation of gas in the stomach and intestines resulting in a feeling of abdominal weight and a tense and swollen abdomen. To achieve this purpose, it is necessary to use plants that stimulate the digestive function and the contractility of the tone of the visceral muscles, in order to facilitate the expulsion of gases. The plants designated for this purpose are: Taraxacum officinale, which contains, among other bitter principles, tarassicin, a biliary function stimulant which acts by accelerating intestinal peristalsis and the expulsion of faeces. SALVIA OFFICINALIS, containing salvione and other EOs in a mixture, which has an antiseptic, antispasmodic and eupeptic action. Lavandula officinalis, the main component of the active ingredients is linalyl acetate which has an antispasmodic and sedative action on the CNS and exerts a cholagogue and choleretic action with stimulation of intestinal peristalsis, an action also common to TARAXACUM OFFICINALIS, with consequent acceleration of intestinal transit, expulsion of feces and therefore reduction of aerocolia. MATRICARIA CHAMOMILLA, through azulene and a not yet identified glucoside with spasmolytic action; it has a calming action on the gastrointestinal system with consequent reduction of digestive difficulties and poor gastric and intestinal motility. THYMUS VULGARIS, the main active ingredients, thymol, carvacrol and an antispasmodic substance, reduce intestinal fermentations and have an antiseptic action. FOENICULUM VULGARE, the main active ingredient is fecone, which has an exciting action on the motility of the stomach and intestine, on the production of bile with consequent stimulating action on intestinal peristalsis; it also carries out an important function such as the anti-fermentative and carminative action with consequent expulsion of intestinal gas. Pimpinella anisum, the main active ingredient, anethole, stimulates the action of the salivary glands and liver, with consequent digestive action, acceleration of intestinal transit and the expulsion of intestinal gas. This carminative, antiseptic and anti-putrefactive action is common to umbellifers, as already seen for FOENICULUM VULGARE, and eliminates the causes that lead to the formation of gas and therefore meteorism. Dosage: 30 drops 3 times a day, in half a glass of water, 10 minutes before meals. Content per daily dose: 90 drops make available: Thyme 90 mg, Sage 79 mg, Anise 67 mg, Lavender 45 mg, Dandelion 34 mg, Fennel 30 mg, Chamomile 30 mg. Synergistic protocols INTESTINAL SWELLING (AIR): Lapacho: 21 drops in water in half a liter of water to drink during the day in small sips (1st and 2nd week); 42 drops (III and IV weeks); 63 drops for 6 months.
